Megan Thee Stallion has had a great year in 2020, although, there have certainly been a lot of ups and downs for the "Savage" rapper. Megan and Cardi B made their way to the top of the Billboard charts with their song together, "WAP," and it has continued to be a hit.

Additionally, people all over the world were doing their own versions of the "Savage" dance which only intensified once Beyonce joined in on the track. Since her rise to the top, Megan has worked alongside other artists like Tyga, Young Thug , Gucci Mane, and Normani, among others.

Megan, after releasing a number of singles and collaborative efforts, has now dropped her first first-length LP. The star took to her Instagram account earlier this week to reveal her new record, Good News, was coming out today on Friday.

The rapper thanked her fans and followers for staying with her ever since she dropped Rich Ratchet. Megan went on to say that despite the "rough a** year" everyone has had, she thought it was time for a little bit of "good news," which was obviously a reference to her album title.

Megan's new record features the likes of Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Popcaan, Young Thug, City Girls, DaBaby, Lil' Durk, Beyonce, SZA, and many others. Regardless of her full-length, Megan has been all over the headlines for many other reasons as well.

Tory Lanez allegedly shot Megan Thee Stallion in the foot during the summertime of this year. They had been fighting over Kylie Jenner, because, reportedly, Megan didn't like that Tory was fooling around with another girl even though she was the one who supposedly invited him there.

Since then, it's been reported that Tory and pled not guilty to the charges, including assault with a deadly weapon and more. Tory has maintained his innocence ever since the police first laid charges on him, and even before then when the media began reporting on the incident.

Lanez also dropped a record, Daystar, which addressed the shooting in detail although it was slammed by the press and other celebs.
