Former Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel rarely shows photos of her daughter, Bryn. But, to celebrate her 10th birthday, Frankel changed things up and decided to post four pictures in her daughter’s honor along with a special birthday message.
“Peanut, I love you so much. You have given me ten years of joy, inspiration, laughter and absolute love,” wrote Frankel on Instagram. “You bring meaning to my life every day. You are such a sweet, loving and sunny person that shines light on everyone around you You are loved. I wish for you health and happiness and that you continue to do what you love and what makes you happy every day and let your free spirit fly!”

Peanut, I love you so much. You have given me ten years of joy, inspiration, laughter and absolute love. You bring meaning to my life every day. You are such a sweet, loving and sunny person that shines light on everyone around you. You are loved. I wish for you health and happiness and that you continue to do what you love and what makes you happy every day and let your free spirit fly! PS: @biggysmallz were up all night wrapping presents for you and they love their sissy so much! 🐾🐶🎉🎂🎈♥️
The Skinny Girl mogul added that her dogs, Biggy and Smallz “were up all night wrapping presents” because “they love their sissy so much.”
Frankel and her ex-husband Jason Hoppy welcomed Bryn in 2010, but she has never put her daughter in the spotlight. Aside from posting the occasional photo, Frankel keeps Bryn away from the cameras so she is free to be a kid.
In 2016, Frankel told Entertainment Tonight that her decision to not feature her daughter on Real Housewives of New York was “great,” and the days of her putting people on the show that didn’t sign up for it were over.
Frankel explained that reality TV wasn’t the best environment for her daughter. When Bryn was a baby she had no idea what was going on, and Frankel couldn’t imagine putting a microphone on a six-year-old.
Even though she has a busy career, Frankel says that her daughter always comes first. She says that she is with Bryn every moment that she can be, including dropping her off and picking her up from school (before COVID-19).
In the pics celebrating Bryn’s 10th birthday, the first photo is a selfie that features her smiling and wearing a sun hat. In the second pic, Bryn is jumping in front of Frankel while they are wearing pajamas and surrounded by birthday presents. The last two pics feature Frankel and Bryn sharing hugs and kisses.
Bethenny Frankel and Bryn have been sheltering-in-place together, while the RHONY alum has been working tirelessly with her B Strong foundation to help workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
