The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star struggled with her weight and body image for years before she finally found the motivation to drop the extra weight and get in the shape of her life. That being said, Khloe Kardashian revealed how she pushed herself to work out when she was at her heaviest while on her sister Kourtney’s ‘Poosh Wellness Wednesdays’ show.
Khloe opened up about her weight loss journey and had a lot of valuable insight to give fans who maybe want to follow in her footsteps.
After all, the reality TV celeb started from never working out at all to making it a routine that she actually enjoys doing.
Of course, the process was quite challenging and she explained that on Kourtney’s live show.
‘When I first started working out it was agony. When I was heavier and I was more unhealthy, I had no idea what I was doing, I started 2 days a week for like the first 2 weeks, and then I advanced to Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays. And I believe, you cannot get it all in a day. You cannot…you have to listen to your body and, sometimes our eyes are bigger than our stomach,’ she dished.
Khloe went on to explain that: ‘We think, ‘Oh I can do that. That is a breeze. Let me do X, Y and Z’ and then you are so exhausted or you are hurt or you are too sore that it discourages you from going back the following day. So I think that we have to set small milestones and reward ourselves. And you have to praise yourself and maybe watching what you are eating during that time but start slow.’
The mother of one stressed that this is ‘the key’ to succeeding.
She also discussed her decision to stick to her workout routine and make it part of her life, admitting that it was not easy either.
All in all, she made it clear that it will definitely take a white for anyone to feel healthy and motivated but it’s all worth sticking to it and making it a lifestyle change.
