Earlier this year, Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen became a first-time dad at the age of 50, and the St. Louis native has been kind enough to share his journey as a new dad with his Instagram fans. Cohen has been posting pics of his son Ben and their dog Wacha, and it’s clear that the trio is enjoying life together.
Andy Cohen welcomed Benjamin Allen Cohen via surrogate on February 4th, and the Bravolebrity threw a huge baby shower filled with a who’s who of Real Housewives and other Bravo stars just days before his arrival. Cohen’s shower was held at The Palm in Beverly Hills, and The Daily Dish called it “the wildest, most-turnt up baby shower ever.”
When Ben arrived, Andy continued his habit of over-sharing – which he said in his baby announcement is something he expects everyone to do – by posting numerous pics of life as a single dad in New York City.
In his most recent pic, Andy posed with Ben as they share matching smiles and big brown eyes, and fans couldn’t get over how much beautiful brown hair the eight-month old already has. Ben was wearing a bright yellow St. Louis Blues hockey jersey, while his dad lounged in a white tee and scruffy beard as they cuddled up together.
Andy also shared pics of their trip to the Statue of Liberty, and he gave a shout out to The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon for his new book This Is Baby, which Ben apparently loves to read, according to one of the Instagram snaps.
Andy also posts videos of himself with Ben, and in his most recent clip, the WWHL host sang his new song Face Full Of Feet while Ben danced on his dad’s face.
During his recent appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Cohen said that he is straight-up a single dad and the “egg donor will not be involved,” and he also revealed that his first year with Ben has been a blast.
“We’re falling in love with each other and getting to know each other,” said Cohen.
As Ben grows, it appears that Andy is in awe of watching his son discover the world, and it’s just the sweetest thing to witness.
New episodes of Watch What Happens Live air Sunday through Thursday on Bravo.
