Toni Braxton's Fans Pray For Her As She Suffers From Lupus Symptoms And Terrible Cough After Ending 'As Long As I Live' Tour
Toni Braxton just finished her nationwide 'As Long As I Live' tour. The living legend is battling Lupus symptoms and a terrible cough now that she's no longer on the road.
The Grammy award-winning singer took to her Instagram page to let followers know that she's going to be giving a little more self-care to celebrate the end of the tour and heal herself from the illness.
"We did it, yay! We got through the tour. It was tough. Good and bad days having stupid lupus, but I couldn’t have done it without you guys. Thank you for singing along with me. I need you guys to get me through those nights that were tough, and I want to you guys to know how much I appreciate you."
She coughed multiple times during her speech and joked that she will be eating junk food and watching hours of Netflix from her bed.
Toni has always been open about her battle with the autoimmune disease that other celebrities like Selena Gomez and Nick Cannon also battle with.
Other than excruciating pain, Lupus can manifest through other symptoms like laryngitis or swelling.
This comes merely days after Braxton told followers that one of the members of her team got everyone sick. Her little sister, Tamar, also shared an adorable video of the vocalist sleeping.
Toni's fans immediately flocked to her comments to pray and send her well wishes.
"@tonibraxton We love you, thank you for being an ultimate performer and showing up even when u were sick🙏🏽. Anyone else would have cancelled," complimented one follower.
