Reginae Carter Reveals The Simple Dating Advice She Got From Lil Wayne And Toya Wright — She Seems Eager To Change Her Life After The YFN Lucci Fiasco
It seems that Miss Reginae Carter is going through some changes in her life — they are positive, and her father and legendary rapper, Lil Wayne, may have something to do with it.
The young reality TV star dated MC YFN Lucci on and off for several months — during which he was caught cheating and humiliating her on several occasions.
At some point, Toya Wright’s oldest daughter decided she had enough and split from him for good.
Recently, Reginae did an interesting interview with Atlanta Black Star, where she spoke about some of the dating advice that she has received from Lil Wayne.
The 21-year-old model revealed: “With school, I feel like school is not for everyone. But I am an advocate for school. … I’ve always had great grades, I’ve always done what I had to do, but school never was for me. … It’s not the same with me.”
She went on to say: “I always had to think about the teachers not liking me because of my daddy or my mama or the kids not liking me because I got this. So school was different for me. It wasn’t my forte. But I just had to do what I had to do because of my parents [are] big on education. So that’s why I’m big on education.”
The star of T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle went on to share the most precious piece of advice Lil Wayne ever shared: “My father always tells me, there’s nothing more beautiful than an educated black woman. That’s the thing, and my dad is like, you know, the OG, so everybody is like, ‘Oh, I don’t want to talk to her’ … There’s an absolute respect that you have to have when you come to me, so it’s like people don’t be wanting to deal with all of that. You have to deal with my daddy, and then you got to deal with my godfather … It’s just too much.”
Reginae opened up about what Toya had to say about her dating life: “As long as you, like, respect me, take care of me, make me happy, my parents are good, and you ain’t doing nothing crazy that’s going to get me in trouble.”
Reginae also posted a video of Will Smith explaining how to level up and captioned it: “Who’s ready to kill bad habits and stop allowing our past to determine our future? Change is good! Bettering yourself is even better ❤️ Be true to yourself! One more thing… Walk-in every room and own who you are but make the energy so vibrant people run towards you & not away from you. 😘”
Fans are here for it.
A fan said: “I am going through this, I realized I was not myself and that’s why it falls apart, it’s like the world I knew is just propped n stage gear, make-believe…I need to step into who I am, not necessarily who I want to be, and the rest will come and stay! How could it not now that you live in truth.❤️”
Another commenter stated: “I know that’s right, @colormenae. @toyajohnson definitely taught you well. #levelup💋 Great words deep like it sound like poetry as it comes out.😂😂🔥”
Reginae seems ready to level up.
