Martha Stewart Says Felicity Huffman Looked A Little 'Schlumpy' In Prison Uniform
According to a report from Page Six, the ex-convict, Martha Stewart, came out to offer some fashion advice to Felicity Huffman. The 78-year-old Stewart, who famously served five months in prison after she lied to federal investigators regarding securities violations, made her facetious comment regarding the Desperate Housewives start earlier this week.
While at the Vanity Fair summit in LA on Tuesday to celebrate the launch of Discovery's Food Network Kitchen, Martha shared some words of wisdom for Felicity, the Desperate Housewives alum who is now serving two weeks behind bars.
After saying Felicity should put more effort into her style, the 78-year-old television personality added, "she looked pretty schlumpy." Martha, who seemed to be joking while she made her comment, later stated that Felicity had made a "horrible" error, and she's now experiencing the repercussions of that mistake.
On Saturday, the very first photographs of Huffman in her green prison jumpsuit were released as the actress is serving her two-week sentence at an FDI in Dublin, California. Moreover, back in May, the Emmy Award winner admitted to paying the college admissions scandal leader, Rick Singer, approximately $15 grand to fix her daughter's SAT scores.
Felicity has a daughter with her husband, actor William H. Macy. The star is scheduled for release on the 27th of October. As it was noted above, Martha Stewart went to prison back in 2004 after she was found guilty of conspiracy, two counts of lying, as well as obstruction of justice.
Furthermore, Martha was demanded to pay $30,000 in fines. Two years ago, Martha dished on her experiences behind bars, and stated it was "horrifying." Martha added that there isn't a person on earth who should live that kind of lifestyle.
This isn't the first time Martha has been in the news in the last few weeks. Tekashi 6ix9ine, née Daniel Hernandez, 23, was apprehended by authorities on racketeering charges among others, and after he squealed on his ex-associates, he became even more of an internet meme.
Fans on Twitter pointed out that even Martha Stewart had more credibility on the street than Tekashi 6ix9ine because she purportedly never ratted out her associates.
