The actor and comedian just broke his silence! Kevin Hart has been recovering since his scary car accident but now he is finally speaking up after keeping away from the media in the aftermath.

As fans remember, on September 1, Kevin suffered serious back injuries after his car was crashed by a friend who was driving while the 40-year-old father of three was in the passenger seat.

Hart remained in the hospital for no less than ten days and then was discharged and checked in a rehabilitation facility where he continued to undergo the physical therapy he needed to recover.

Now, more than a month after his accident, a statement was released by his attorney and obtained by E! News.

The message had Hart addressing the two friends - Jared Black and Rebecca Broxterman – who were in the vehicle with him as well at the time of the crash.

‘I have nothing but love for Jared and wish him and Rebecca a speedy recovery,’ Hart simply let the world know.

But while the actor has not talked with the public before now, his wife, Eniko Hart, did update fans on his condition and it was thankfully good news!

The model told the paparazzi that ‘He's doing well, thank you. We are just taking it one day at a time...He will be back on track in no time.’

Furthermore, while there have been reports that Hart is back to work, attorney Andrew Brettler revealed that he only shot promos for the Jumanji sequel for a couple of hours this past week and nothing more!

‘Hart has not been in full costume for these shoots and he's not walking much for them either—sitting through most of the day—even though he can walk on his own. Hart doesn't anticipate going back to work full time until early next year, assuming everything stays on track with his physical therapy,’ the attorney stated.
