The woman who appeared in a sex tape with Kevin Hart that was recorded in a Las Vegas hotel room back in 2017 has sued the comedian for $60 million, claiming emotional distress and invasion of privacy. Montia Sabbag - a 28-year-old model - says that she had no idea she “was being recorded,” and she believes the tape was a publicity stunt for Hart’s” Irresponsible” Comedy Tour.

According to E! News , Sabbag filed a 38-page complaint accusing Hart, his friend Johnathan “JT” Jackson, the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, and other companies of intentionally inflicting emotional distress, violating her privacy, and negligence.

Sabbag and Hart had consensual sex in the hotel room, but she says that Hart conspired with Jackson to set up a hidden recording device “for the purpose of obtaining tremendous financial benefit for himself.” She is convinced that one of the most famous people on the planet secretly had his friend record the sexual encounter to promote his record-breaking comedy tour and to “increase his overall pop culture status.”

When the video appeared online back in September 2017, Hart took to Instagram to let fans know that someone was attempting to extort him. He also admitted that he was guilty of cheating on his pregnant wife, Eniko Parrish, and he apologized for his actions.

“It’s beyond irresponsible. There’s no way around it. That’s Kevin Hart in his dumbest moment. That’s not the finest hour of my life. With that being said, you make your bed you lay in it,” said Hart.

Eventually, police arrested Jackson and the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office charged him with attempted extortion, but he denied the accusations. The prosecutor claimed that Jackson attempted to sell the sex tape to numerous celebrity websites after Hart refused to pay him for the tape.

At the same time, there was speculation that Sabbag was also involved in the extortion attempt, but she claimed that she had nothing to do with it, and was simply the victim. Sabbag also initially claimed that Hart was a victim, just like her.

In a press conference, Sabbag stood by her attorney Lisa Bloom as she said that she didn’t want any money from Hart. Instead, all she wanted was the person who secretly filmed her having sex with Hart to pay for their crime.

But, things have changed in the past couple of years. Sabbag now has a new lawyer, and insiders say that the model and her attorney recently requested six-figures from Hart. However, Hart’s attorney rejected the demand and didn’t offer Sabbag anything.

As a result, Sabbag has filed the multi-million dollar lawsuit and changed her original story. She no longer claims that Hart was a victim like her. Instead, she now says he was in on it, and she wants him to pay up. However, she’s going to have a major fight on her hands.

Insiders also claim that Kevin Hart has been working with the prosecutor for two years on the case because his former friend “f**ked him over.” The comedian will not pay Sabbag a dime, and he refuses to settle.
