Dwayne Johnson Is The Highest Paid Actor Again This Year - 2 Years In A Row!
Dwayne Johnson is still crushing it. Forbes Magazine reported this week that Dwayne Johnson is the highest-paid male actor in Hollywood for the second year in a row, following a $87.5 million year ending in June 2020. The vast majority of his earnings come from Red Notice in which he reportedly made $23.5 million.
Dwayne has managed to make money through other entrepreneurial projects as well, including his Under Armour line, Project Rock. As it was previously reported, Johnson earned $89.4 million last year as well on account of his multiple box-offices smashes, including Hobbs and Shaw , Ballers, and Skyscraper.
Forbes Magazine reported that the top ten in their list earned an accumulated $545.5 million in 2020, and 25% of those earnings came from Netflix. Following close in second place is Ryan Reynolds, who co-starred with Dwayne in Red Notice.
Ryan reportedly earned $71.5 million from his movie roles including Six Underground, from Netflix. In 3rd place is Mark Wahlberg, who took home $58 million, and then Ben Affleck and Vin Diesel with $55 million and $54 million respectively.
With all things considered, there's no question Dwayne Johnson is on top of his game in a big way. Johnson has successfully made the transition from professional wrestling to acting in a manner that's unprecedented in film history. Dwayne has made himself a fan favorite due not only to his performances but also his social media sharing.
The actor frequently posts his workout routines and diet on his social media accounts. For instance, earlier this year, Dwayne was in the headlines for posting one of his epic cheat days. Typically, Dwayne has a cheat day on Sunday in which he permits himself to eat whatever he wants.
In a 2015 article from Men's Fitness, Dwayne was reported as saying that he eats seven meals per day including lean proteins, healthy grains, and vegetables.
According to Suzy Kerry, last month, Dwayne shared his cheat day in which he ate two massive pieces of french toast with maple syrup, jelly, and peanut butter, along with Johnson's Teremana tequila and cheesecake to go with it. As it was noted above, the wrestler-turned-actor commonly uploads what he eats for his 189 million Instagram followers to see.
