The First 'RHOBH' Baby Is On The Way! Star Teddi Mellencamp Reveals She Is Pregnant
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp has just revealed that she and her husband Edwin Arroyave are expecting their third child together. After conceiving their first two children through IVF, Mellencamp says that baby number three is a “complete surprise.”
The 38-year-old Mellencamp told Us Weekly that she is in her second trimester and is 14 weeks along. She and her husband decided to keep the news “under wraps” until they knew she was “in the clear,” and now they are starting to share their baby surprise with everybody. Plus, Mellencamp says she has a bump, so she can’t really hide it anymore.
Mellencamp and Arroyave are already the parents of Slate, 6, and Cruz, 5, and he also has a 10-year-old daughter named Isabella from a previous relationship. The ALL IN by Teddi accountability coach says that her kids are “so excited” about the new baby and they already have names picked out.
John Mellencamp’s daughter says that she and Arroyave are “over the moon” about the news, and they had no idea it was coming.
“My husband said, ‘I don’t want to see you going through IVF again — that was brutal,’” said Mellencamp. “It was so many rounds, but this time we really weren’t doing anything! I was on vacation! Just having fun with my family! It was a complete surprise. I didn’t even know I was because I didn’t have a regular cycle.”
Mellencamp joked that she is going to have to buy a minivan because her family has outgrown their cars, and they also have some decisions to make about rooms in the house.
Last year, Mellencamp told a fan on Instagram that she would love to have another baby, but she didn’t think it was in the cards because she had multiple miscarriages before getting pregnant with Cruz, and the IVF process was extremely difficult for her.
The love is already starting to pour in from other Housewives in the Bravo franchise. RHOC star Vicki Gunvalson posted a message of congratulations in the comments section of Mellencamp’s Instagram post. And, so did her new RHOBH co-star Garcelle Beauvais.
Erika Jayne told Us Weekly that she is “so excited to welcome the first baby of Beverly Hills,” and she can’t wait to watch Mellencamp’s journey and then “squeeze this little bundle of joy.” Jayne added that they are going to do their best to compete with Andy Cohen’s epic baby shower.
The ladies of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have just started filming Season 10, which should premiere on Bravo in early 2020.
