It was recently reported that Tamar Braxton's sister received extremely sad news after her ex-husband passed away.  Gabe Solis died at only 43 years old .

He had been battling cancer, and it looks like he kept this a secret even from his family, according to the latest reports coming from TMZ.

Now, a gesture that Tamar made had led to her fans slamming her all over social media.

She posted a video in which she showed off her Fashion Nova outfit.

She has been promoting the brand for a long time, and her fans were even wondering why don't they ever like her pics if she keeps promoting them and showing them love.

'In my sexy @fashionnova couchlife gear....Here is to a week of chillin??popcorn, movies, T’chella , family and beans?' Tamar captioned her video.

Someone slammed her, saying 'So, even the death of your sister's ex won’t make you stop thinking about yourself for even a second??'

Another person asked 'Is anyone from the Braxton Family going to send condolences to Gabe Solis?'

But Tamar's diehard fans were quick to defend her.

For instance, someone said ’all sound real stupid. Y’all lives are so involved in social media that you expect somebody to post something that has nothing to do with them, why should she post about him? It wasn’t her ex-husband, AND TRINA didn’t post it either. How do y’all know she ain't check up on her sister, y’all sound so dumb it’s crazy.'

Another follower said that Tamar is working for Fashion Nova: 'Y’all must not know that this is sponsored. This is WORK. She supposed to stop working because he passed??'

Someone else wrote 'that's not her issue tho that's Trina ex if you are so concerned go on Trina's page with your prayers don't come on Tamar's page with that.'

What do you think? Should have Tamar said something publicly after what happened?
