Katy Perry admitted this week that Orlando Bloom is basically a child still in his heart. Page Six picked up on an interview with the performing artist on Friday in which Perry explained that her 43-year-old fiancé loves lego more than anything.
During her chat with the hosts of This Morning Mashup on SiriusXM, the 35-year-old singer-songwriter admitted that they actually have a “lego room” in their house. Initially, it was a TV room but now it’s dedicated solely to Orlando’s lego collection.
According to Perry, Orlando loves to make model cars and other things out of lego, and after he completes them, he puts them on the wall. The singer-songwriter says that Orlando loves to drink whiskey and build lego cars at night, sometimes even staying up very late.
During the same interview, Katy addressed the sonogram photo in which it looked like Katy’s baby was giving the middle finger. Katy joked that if the baby was giving the peace sign, it must have Orlando’s genes, but if it’s the middle finger, it’s her genes.
Regarding the quarantine measures that have taken their toll on Americans all over the nation, Katy said it’s been a struggle for them too. The artist says that the quarantine has really tested Orlando. Katy joked that she has said to Orlando that this would be a test to see whether they could really handle each other.
As fans of the couple know, Katy and Orlando first met in 2016 at a Golden Globes afterparty, although, they’ve definitely had their ups and downs, including when they broke up for a full year. They since got together again in 2018 and were engaged just one year after.
In March of this year, Katy confirmed she was pregnant with a music video for the song, “Never Born White.” This past month, the artist announced that she and the Pirates of the Caribbean actor were going to have a baby girl.
Before she was linked to Orlando, Katy also dated the guitarist, John Mayer. Orlando, on the other hand, had a child with Miranda Kerr.
