During a new interview with the New York Times, Ben Affleck confessed that his divorce from Jennifer Garner is his life’s ‘biggest regret.’ That being said, fans of the couple are super curious to learn how she feels about that!

Is it still possible for them to get back together or not?

The interview was as candid as they come! The actor opened up about his struggle with substance abuse in the past but also his biggest regret in life – divorcing fellow actress Jennifer Garner after about 13 years of marriage and 3 kids together.

Speaking of the kids, Ben and Jen have actually remained very close and are in each other’s lives a lot for the young ones’ sake.

Now, one source tells HollywoodLife that Garner appreciates what he had to say but that is not to say that they are getting back together now.

‘Jen is impressed Ben is trying hard to be a better man. It really shows to their kids that he is someone who has made mistakes but is learning from them and not letting things slip into something even more hurtful for himself and his family. His honest approach really made her feel good. The fact that he is admitting to his struggles and even mentioned his biggest regret was losing her, although it is really sad, it is also something that she really appreciates hearing.’

They went on to dish that ‘It is not going to lead to them getting back together but it is going to improve their friendship that they have been trying to work on while being co-parents. Seeing him fight his demons that she has wanted him to fight for so long shows that her words haven’t gone unheard. She really respects him a lot more than what she has over the last couple of years.’
