Even though she and her baby daddy are no longer together, Iggy Azalea is not too worried about her new role as a parent. As you may know she and Playboi Carti share son Onyx but after their split, she is clearly raising him all by herself.

That’s right! One new insider report claims to know that Iggy has fully embraced being a single mom and is not concerned about this new chapter in her life.

At the end of the day, while this has been a ‘transition period,’ Iggy just really loves spending one on one time with her son so she’s not too bothered about doing it all on her own.

The insider dished via HollywoodLife that she ‘has always been fiercely independent her entire life, so she isn’t worried in the slightest about raising Onyx as a single mom. Iggy is super protective of her son and she hasn’t let him out of her sight since becoming a mom, so she’s confident she can absolutely handle raising her son without being in a relationship with his father.’

The source also mentioned that, even though Iggy and Playboi are no longer romantically involved, she has no intention of actually cutting him out of their child’s life.

However, while she wants that for the sake of Onyx growing up with both parents, she definitely has no plans to actually get back together with him.

‘Iggy still wants Carti in her life because she wants Onyx to have a good relationship with his dad, but she’s got no intention of ever getting back together with him. She simply loves herself too much to accept less than what she knows she deserves… She’s got a great support system in L.A. and she’s got her son. Becoming a mom has been the best thing that has ever happened to her.’
