Will Fans Ever Let Justin Bieber Forget About Selena Gomez?
As it was previously reported, Justin Bieber took some heat from fans when it looked like he was looking up videos about Selena Gomez on his internet browser.
Fans were quick to point out the Gomez-related videos in his recommended searches after he watched a performance of himself at Coachella. Mr. Bieber, in response to his nosy fans, urged them to stop reading into things, because he's not actually "getting back at Selena," as some have suggested.
The pop star facetiously explained that the idea of him marrying Hailey Baldwin as a way of spiting Selena Gomez was simply ridiculous. Selena and Justin dated for a long time when they were teenagers, in fact, one might argue that it was their first love, spanning intermittently from 2011 until 2018.
However, similar to Britney Spears, the public often times have a hard time letting things go. Justin said to his fans that he wasn't interested in getting back with Selena, and has since moved on from that stage of his life, but fans aren't willing to move on.
Will fans ever move past the relationship between Selena and Hailey? One insider says "yes, it's just going to take a lot of time." Eventually, fans will move on from the Selena/Justin romance and understand that Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber are the new "normal." It's just going to take a long time for fans to forget that he was even dating Selena.
Justin told his fans they should worry about their own personal lives, rather than focus on the lives of others, especially considering their understanding of celebrities is so shallow, and the information they're getting is one-sided and strictly from the media.
One celebrity to echo this point was Britney Spears, who told her fans last week to stop speculating on her life and stop sending death threats to her family.
As most know, Britney's dad was just one target of fan vitriol, as there were rumors he was holding Britney against her will in a mental institution, despite the fact he has health issues of his own.
