Tori Spelling’s husband gushed over her returning to her iconic show, Beverly Hills 90210. Dean McDermott made it very clear that he was as proud as anyone can be during a brand new interview.
Furthermore, he revealed some details about the reboot and addressed the speculations that the Shannen Doherty ‘feud’ is truly over while chatting with HollywoodLife.
That’s right! The beloved TV show will be getting some brand new episodes, 6 to be exact, and it is expected to air starting with August 7 on Fox.
Dean gushed to the news outlet that ‘I am so proud of her for doing it. She and Jennie had created the — I don’t want to call it a reboot because it is not a straight reboot, it is a heightened version. But, I watched her and Jennie go through the process of getting this project off the ground. And, you know, getting anything green-lit in Hollywood and made is a huge accomplishment. So, I am just so proud of her. I am so proud of Jennie.’
‘I’m thrilled that everybody is back together,’ he added, referring to the rest of the cast.
Furthermore, Dean made sure to also slam those rumors that there is still bad blood between his wife and Shannen Doherty, her co-star.
According to the man, the hatchet has definitely been buried a hundred percent.
As for the rumor in itself, Dean argued that it’s all just a ploy to attract readers wanting to enjoy some drama.
‘Everything’s going great. There’s no feud with her and Shannen. You know the deal. It sells magazines and, you know, it’s clickbait.’
