Tekashi 6ix9ine might be in danger, at least according to his lawyer and other legal experts. Hot New Hip Hop reported today that the rapper’s attorney believes his life may be in danger once he’s released from home confinement following his return home from prison.
Fans of the rapper know that Tekashi 6ix9ine has been on top of the media headlines ever since he got back home and started posting on social media, including the two brand new singles he released, “GOOBA,” and “TROLLZ,” along with Nicki Minaj.
Of course, the performing artist’s reputation has come under siege by other members of the hip-hop community because he told the federal authorities what they wanted to know regarding his involvement with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.
The rapper has continued to deflect attention off of him by pointing to other rappers in the game who have supposedly snitched, including Future, Meek Mill, and Snoop Dogg. In Future’s case, however, Tekashi 6ix9ine merely called him a “deadbeat dad.”
According to Hot New Hip Hop, one of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s lawyers, Dawn Florio, recently said to the New York Post that she was concerned for the rapper’s wellbeing once he finally gets out of his house. Tekashi 6ix9ine declined to go into the witness protection program after his racketeering case.
Dawn Florio says that a lot of people have condemned him for working with the government, however, he’s in “great spirits.” She says she won’t rest easy until he’s in a different state with 24-hour security.
Another attorney, who worked with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, said he thought Tekashi 6ix9ine would be as good as dead once he got out of prison. The attorney said to The Post that it used to be like “Godfather” out there, but now, one can rat and not suffer any repercussions.
Derrick Parker, on the other hand, a police officer, supposedly praised the rapper for working with the government. Derrick said to the outlet that there are many rappers out there who would never tell on their associates, such as Fat Joe, but Tekashi 6ix9ine did and he’ll probably get bigger than ever.
