The Harry Potter actor is officially a first-time father! Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome have welcomed their baby together and could not be any happier to be a family of three.

The pair confirmed the amazing news earlier today, one rep sharing via HollywoodLife that: ‘Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are very delighted to confirm the birth of their baby girl. We'd please ask that you respect their privacy at this special time.’

The pregnancy reports only started about a month ago when Georgia put her baby bump on display for the first time.

It was, obviously, already super big when she was seen out with Rupert during a Whole Foods trip on April 9.

She was wearing a black graphic tee, matching leggings and a pair of white sneakers at the time and her belly looked ready to pop.

The following day, their rep finally confirmed that she was indeed pregnant with her boyfriend, Rupert’s child, stating that they were ‘excited to announce they are expecting a baby.’

Rupert and Georgia have been a couple since 2011 so it’s safe to say that they have definitely not rushed into the world of parenthood.

As for the next step in their relationship, there have been marriage rumors going around that started last year when they were seen rocking matching rings.

Aside from that, the actor couple has done a great job keeping their romance as private as they come despite being together for almost a decade.

In a 2018 interview for The Guardian, Rupert opened up about starting a family, however, saying that: ‘I’d like to settle down and have kids soon. If I had a son, would I call him Ron? It is quite a good name, but probably not. And Grint’s a tough name to pair a one syllable first name with.’
