Ronnie Magro and Jen Harley had to have one of the worst possible scenarios happen in order to stop them from getting back together romantically. Ronnie will not be going to jail for what happened that fateful night he and Jen got into the worst fight of their relationship — but he won’t be walking away scot-free.
In October of last year, Harley and Magro were staying in a California Airbnb where they got into an argument that allegedly turned physical.
There is footage of a panicked Jen trying to drop her infant over a neighbor’s fence and even photos of a spaced-out Ronnie being wheeled away in a hospital bed after being tazed by authorities.
In a recent episode, the father opened up about the incident: ‘A bunch of unfortunate events that were completely out of my control, and all I can do is stay away from the situation that got me to where that is. All I can do is move forward and hope that never happens again, and just grow as a person, and grow as a man, and grow as a father. That’s all I can really do.’
When it was all said and done, the Jersey Shore star was charged with domestic violence, brandishing a weapon, child endangerment, false imprisonment [of Jen], resisting arrest and making criminal threats.
Lucky for Ronnie, some of the charges were dropped.
Recently, the judge ruled that although he won’t spend time behind bars, Ronnie is required to complete 30 days of community labor in Nevada, donate $20,000 to a L.A.-based women’s shelter and complete a 52-week domestic violence program at a court-approved agency in Nevada.
When it comes to his co-parenting relationship with Jen, he is only allowed to make ‘peaceful contact’ while obeying the three-year protective order she has against him.
