It appears that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are proving they can truly be completely self-sufficient after leaving the Royal Family! The husband and wife team are doing their own thing and even expanding their entertainment empire by signing their own podcasting deal on Spotify, under their Archewell Audio production company!
The news was confirmed by Spotify in an official statement shared earlier today.
Any more details about the multi-year deal were not disclosed by Spotify, however!
Still, it seems like the name of their production banner is a tribute to their son Archie Harrison, 1!
Furthermore, fans of the royal couple can look forward to them hosting as well as producing a number of Spotify podcast series over the years to come!
First of all, however, they are apparently expected to begin this long journey by doing a holiday special, a new series also following in 2021, as per Insider.
To introduce Archewell Audio to all Spotify subscribers, Meghan and Harry released a three minutes long audio teaser of the upcoming podcast – on the same day it was confirmed!
Meghan can be heard saying that ‘One of the things that my husband and I have always talked about is our passion for meeting people and for hearing their stories.’
Harry went on to add that ‘That’s what this project is all about, to bring forward different perspectives and voices that, perhaps, you haven’t heard before and find our common ground.’
Meghan mentioned that this will be an opportunity to ‘celebrate kindness and compassion’ by getting to hear all kinds of voices belonging to different people from all over the world!
Harry teased that their holiday special is sure to come later this month and that they will get to chat with some amazing people as part of it! Are you looking forward to it or not?
