KUWTK: Kim Kardashian Files For Divorce From Kanye West While Already Living Separate Lives - Details!
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are officially over after she filed for divorce amid marital problems. Before this, the couple had been living separate lives - the KUWTK star home in L.A. with their 4 kids, while the rapper has been spending most of his time at his ranch.
As per TMZ, Kim filed for divorce on February 19, only three months before what would have been their seventh wedding anniversary.
It turns out that Kim and Kanye, just like many other couples in Hollywood, could not make it work in the end.
The celebs got married in May of 2014 and are the parents of four kids.
TMZ also reports that Kim has requested physical and legal custody of their young ones and that neither one of them has contested their prenup.
As for the date of their separation, it looks like Kim did not write any in the documents.
Previously, the rapper was reported to have moved his massive 500-pair shoe collection to his ranch, as well as other belongings.
At the time, one insider told Page Six that they decided to live separately because they thought it 'would be less dramatic without both of them in the house.'
Other reports stated that they had been separated for months but that Kim was still not in a hurry to divorce Kanye, for the sake of their kids and in hopes they would still manage to make it work somehow.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians cast member was also seen without her wedding ring and Kanye did not even spend the holidays with the family.
Things between Kim and Kanye seemingly got really bad when the latter decided to run for the highest office in the country.
During one of his campaign speeches, the rapper revealed some really personal things about his and Kim's marriage, including the fact that they nearly got an abortion while pregnant with their firstborn daughter North.
'Even if my wife were to divorce me after this speech, she brought North into this world, when I did not want to. I almost killed my daughter,' he said, in tears, at the time.
