Kandi Burruss' Daughter, Riley Burruss, Lands In Hot Water For Sharing This Post On Her Birthday -- Some 'RHOA' Fans Ask Her To Stop, While Others Defend Her
Kandi Burruss' daughter, Riley, is celebrating her 17th birthday, and like many teenagers, she decided to share her cash app and asked her followers for some money.
Todd Tucker's stepdaughter penned a little note asking for the birthday donation and told her fans that while her mom is a multi-millionaire, she is not wealthy.
The future lawyer wrote: "It’s my birthday, everyone! Show me some love!❤️❤️❤️ (EDIT: it’s my birthday all of you. my mom has money don't🤣🤣)."
Many of her supporters took it as a joke, a few gave some money for her birthday, while others reminded her that she comes from a wealthy family and should not be asking people who are living paycheck to paycheck for cash.
A follower jokingly said: "Happy birthday sis, 🥳 I got you soon as that direct deposit hit 😩😩."
Another commenter wealth-shamed Riley: "From the millionaires' daughter. 😂Girl, your drive, Porsche, leave me alone ... lol Happy birthday. 🎉🎈"
This person said Kandi should put a stop to this: "Do your momma know you on here asking us paycheck to paycheck folks for money😒 Happy Birthday that’s all I got for you Luv 💕."
A fourth individual added: "Rich ppl asking for money from poor ppl. Sounds like the government. I have to think no, right?! @kandi is very involved in charity. This is embarrassing."
This defender stated: "Girl your mother richer than all of us put together stooopp 😂Haha so funny and happy to know you !! I am always talking about you with Charles 💕🍬😍 I don't really understand why grown people are always jumping on these babies stats being negative. Have yall ever stop to think that she is just trying to be a normal teenager doi g what they do. This baby would probably be happy if yall gave her a dollar. Just want yall to show some love. In stead yall on here tearing a baby down just like we do each other, and that's why our race can never get ahead!!!! Happy Birthday, Baby Girl."
Another backer revealed: "Right everyone posts their cash app on their birthday. I don't understand why they follow her to be negative. Let her be a normal young woman I'm sure she’s playing anyways."
Is Riley right or wrong for asking for money?
