There is a mini-war of words going on between President Donald Trump and Brad Pitt, and it will not end any time soon.

Recently, Angelina Jolie's ex-husband made headlines by taking a dig at the controversial Republican politician.

After Pitt won his first-ever performance Oscar for his stellar role as stunt double Cliff Booth in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood , he took the stage and had this to say: "They told me I only have 45 seconds up here, which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week."

He went on to say the following on the matter: "I'm thinking maybe Quentin [Tarantino] does a movie about it, and in the end, the adults do the right thing."

It did not take long for Trump to react by bashing Pitt in a public manner.

The former reality TV star stated at a rally in Colorado: "How bad were the Academy Awards this year? And then you have Brad Pitt! I was never a fan of his. He got up and said little wiseguy statements …he's a little wiseguy."

Trump, who was probably furious because former President Barack Obama won an Oscar, went on to throw shade at the Best Picture winner Parasite -- which is an epic human story.

Trump claimed: "And the winner is — a movie from South Korea. What the h*** was that all about? We've got enough problems with South Korea because of trade, and we're giving them picture of the year?"

A source close to Pitt spoke to Hollywood Life and said the star is not afraid of Trump and has no plans to take back what he said: "Brad doesn't regret anything he has said in his acceptance speeches and is paying little attention to what the president said about him; there is no reason to fuel the fire by reacting. Brad is not going to go down a route where he is going to be petty and get himself involved in a feud that would go absolutely nowhere. People talk about Brad for a lot of things, and he bounces it off, and in this case, with the president, he is going to do the same thing."

What are your thoughts on Trump's reaction? Will the feud end soon?

Comments like these the president made are childish and not worthy of someone who holds the highest office in the land. Whst this country does not need is a petulant six year old at its helm. Heaven help all of us.
