Duane 'Dog the Bounty Hunter' Chapman spoke to Fox 31 about his recent hospitalization and told the outlet that he believes it was due to a broken heart. Dog's wife of 13 years, Beth Chapman, died on June 26, 2019, due to complications from cancer. Dog and Beth had a new television series in production and now his family is worried that the loss of Beth is simply too much for him to bear. They are begging him to take better care of his own health before they lose him too.

Speaking to Fox 31, Dog the Bounty Hunter said the following in regards to the lessening of chest pains he was feeling when he was admitted to the hospital.

"It feels much better now. And I'm going through some psychological things right now too, so that doesn't help. I think, basically, I had a broken heart. And of course, it's going to heal."

Fans have been extremely worried for Dog the Bounty Hunter who is 66-years-old and was diagnosed with high blood pressure. There is no doubt that the stress of all he has been through caused him additional health issues. He clarified that he did not have a heart attack and will not need heart surgery. Dog has also indicated that he has had a difficult time watching the new program Dog's Most Wanted because it is simply too painful seeing Beth on screen.

Dog hasn't hidden how difficult it is for him just making it through each day without Beth and his fans are rallying behind him offering him words of support and encouragement. He's also stated that he always believed he would have been the first one to pass away.

He has also made it clear that he doesn't use drugs and when the initial episode occurred, he couldn't breathe for several minutes. There's no question that his stress factor wasn't helped after the August burglary of his store that saw many of his personal items he shared with Beth stolen. As Dog's new show continues to gain momentum, he has the love and support of his fans who are praying for him to make it through this challenging time.
