According to some insider reports, in the aftermath of his split from Megan Fox, Brian Austin Green is going through a really hard time! As it seems, the man really misses the actress but the pain of the separation is at least being lessened by a couple of things, a source tells HollywoodLife.

As fans know, it’s already been three weeks since Austin announced he and Megan’s relationship had come to an end.

That being said, the heartbreak is still hitting him hard. After all, the two were married for a decade!

On his podcast, he previously told fans that while they are on a break, they are doing great at co-parenting their kids.

At the same time, the actor is rather worried about the uncertainty at this point.

‘There’s the unknown aspect. There is that pit in my stomach… I really do not want Megan and I to be at odds. She has been my best friend for 15 years and I do not want to lose that,' he admitted.

'Brian loved Megan like he’s never loved anyone before. It was very clear to his friends and everybody around him that he wanted to make things work,’ one source dished via HollywoodLife.

Apparently, he considers Megan the love of his life and he really wanted for them to stay married forever.

The same cannot be said about her, the source claimed, explaining that Fox ‘had a foot in and out the door for years.’

Still, her estranged husband was really shocked when she asked for a break, something he opened up about on the podcast a well.

He recalled: ‘She said, ‘You know, I realized while I was out the country working alone that I feel more like myself, and liked myself better during that experience, and I think maybe it's something worth trying for me.’

Regardless, Brian is currently focusing on his 4 sons and is also looking forward to getting back to work as soon as the production industry resumes in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Working will surely help with taking his mind off things.
