Vanderpump Rules: Stassi Schroeder Reveals She Was Trying For A Baby Before Beau Clark Engagement
Stassi Schroeder has been opening up about how stressful wedding planning has been for her lately. The Vanderpump Rules star revealed that before Beau Clark popped the question -- they were trying for a baby!
Usually, people wait until after they are married to have children. It turns out that Stassi doesn't really care about doing things traditionally.
While speaking to US Weekly, Stassi admitted: 'I was trying last summer. I was like, ‘Listen, if he’s not going to propose, I’m going to take matters into my own hands.’ I was seriously hoping to be pregnant because that is so much more important to me than even getting married. I just cannot wait to be a mom. And then once I actually did become engaged, I’m like, ‘Well, I can’t be pregnant at my wedding.’ Like, I have to be able to get s***-faced.'
In addition to wanting to have Italian wine at her nuptials, she claimed that she wants to be able to fit in her perfect wedding dress.
Speaking of the destination vow ceremony, it seems that the couple isn't as excited as they once were to tie the knot. This is because Schroeder agreed to have her wedding filmed not realizing how hard it is to get permission from venues in other countries.
Rome, Italy is especially not a fan of reality shows so the couple has been turned down more times than they can count.
She explained on Lala Kent's new podcast: 'I hate it and I wish we never decided [to have a wedding 5,000 miles away] and I wish we were going to the courthouse. And no one in Italy likes [television] apparently. No one wants to sign that Vanderpump Rules release. It’s a nightmare.'
The October wedding is right around the corner so hopefully, the reality star is able to find somewhere she fancies to say her 'I do's.'
