Tiny Harris Gets Blasted Over Photo Where She Is Wearing Gucci After T.I. Called For Boycott Of Italian Brand -- Did She Really Do Something Wrong?
Diva Tiny Harris is in hot water over a series of pictures that surfaced online where she is partying with her husband, rapper T.I., and she is wearing Gucci.
Most recently, T.I., who claims to be a “7-figure a year customer” of Gucci, took to Instagram where he destroyed the Italian brand and demanded that people boycott it because of the drama over their pricey turtleneck sweater many said resembled blackface.
Celebrities including Spike Lee, Soulja Boy, Waka Flocka, and Russell Simmons joined T.I.
T.I.P. wrote: "@gucci As a 7 figure/yr customer & longtime supporter of your brand I must say...Y’all GOT US f*cked UP!!! APOLOGY NOT ACCEPTED!!!! We ain’t going for this “oops my bad I didn’t mean to be racist and disrespectful towards your people” sh*t!!! All of you knew wtf y’all was doing and WE AINT GOING FOR IT!!! We ALL GOTTA Stop buying, wearing, and supporting this piece of sh*t company And ALL PIECE OF SH*T COMPANIES UNTIL THEY LEARN TO RESPECT OUR DOLLARS & VALUE OUR BUSINESS!!!! Our culture RUNS THIS SH*T!!! We (People of color) spend $1.25 TRILLION/year (but are the least respected and the least included), and if we stop buying ANYTHING, they MUST correct any and ALL of our concerns. That’s THE ONLY WAY we can get some RESPECT PUT ON OUR NAME!!!"
Many were surprised by the photos where Tiny is wearing the brand.
One person slammed her: "Tiny you have to burn that Gucci hat now. Still, love you."I’ve been saying this for years.. stop helping them secure the bag for there next generation ... secure the bag for our next 2 generations..don’t you think they have enough island already ...years of spending our money 💰 but don’t put anything into our communities."
Another commenter claimed: "How you go from NO Gucci for three months but, advertise yo wife in Gucci 😒🙄."
This fan explained that the pictures were taken before T.I. slammed Gucci and added: "This pic obviously was before Gucci posted their ad. Stop hating black folk. Honestly, there should be a much larger movement period not to purchase anything from any other nationality that DO NOT SUPPORT the equality fair justice & employment of the Urban Americans."
Entertainers often get blasted online before all of the facts are even assembled.
