A long list of people including Kandi Burruss and David Adefeso have stepped forward to defend Tamar Braxton who decided to perform at the Welcome to the Dungeon burlesque show on Thursday night.

Tamar took to social media to show off the sexy outfit she wore at the concert, and she was bashed for not being "sad" and "not mourning" the loss of her young niece, Lauren Braxton.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star had this to say about how Tamar is handling her pain and suffering: "All the performers in my Dungeon party were amazing but I want to say a special thanks to @tamarbraxton! She was phenomenal! Tamar experienced a death in the family this week & I saw a few people have decided to shame her for performing because they feel that she should not be doing anything at this time. YOU CAN NOT TELL PEOPLE HOW TO GRIEVE. Some people need to work or stay active to stop themselves from falling apart. Believe me, I know! I have experienced the loss of loved ones too many times. My brother died when I was 15. I decided to go to my performing arts class the next day. "

Kandi added: "Everybody was asking why was I there because they thought Iโ€™d be grieving at home. What they didnโ€™t understand was that I needed to be there. To help me thru my pain. Iโ€™m tearing up even thinking about it. ๐Ÿ˜ข Anyway... I shared that to say that Tamar has been sad but being out here with us has been helping keep her spirits up. So leave her alone! & just be supportive of her & her family during this time. Sometimes death will paralyze you with grief but you gotta figure out how to turn it into fuel to keep living & make the most of the life you have. I love you Tamar! Keep pushing thru the pain. โค๏ธ"

Trina, who also performed with Tamar, added: "I shared the same room with her and I could feel her pain, she was so humble and sweet we both were getting our makeup done quietly then we played music then we laughed then hugged then it was time for prayer. She was sad and nervous and trying to have a good time all in one. Sheโ€™s a strong woman, and weโ€™re here to support her โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ"

David showed major love and support: "Oooohhhhhhh mamma!!!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅwhenโ€™s the next show playing? Ok Iโ€™ll see u in Detroit in about 4 hours and 37 minutes!!!๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝu better wait up for me๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅโค๏ธโค๏ธ."

Tamar should handle things how she sees fit.
