Judge Judy Sheindlin is ending her CBS show after 25 years but fans don't need to worry — she will be heading a new program called Judy Justice . Judge Judy will appear on Monday's episode of The Ellen Show,  where she opened up about the end of Judge Judy. The current 2020-2021 season will be the final for the show. Speaking to Ellen, Judy stated the following.

"I've had a 25-year long marriage with CBS, and it's been successful; next year will be our 25th season, silver anniversary. And CBS sort of felt, I think, they wanted to optimally utilize the repeats of my program, because now they have 25 years reruns; so when they decided to do was to sell a couple of years' worth of reruns. But I'm not tired, so Judy Justice will be coming out a year later."

Judge Judy's fans were upset to hear the news but are looking forward to her new program Judy Justice.

With CBS having 25 years worth of Judge Judy reruns, there will be plenty of opportunities to watch Judy Sheindlin on television.

Judge Judy is the highest paid of all courtroom television programs and people know, love, and fear Judge Judy worldwide.

Those who want to watch Judge Judy still have plenty more opportunities. This season will air until spring 2021, and it is believed that syndicated reruns will begin sometime in 2020.

Judge Judy explained a bit more about how the show will transition to her new program.

"The following couple of years, you should be able to catch all the reruns that CBS has sold to the stations that are currently carrying Judge Judy, and Judy Justice will be going elsewhere — isn't that fun?"
