Donald And Melania Trump Quarantined After Aide Hope Hicks Tests Positive For COVID-19
With the presidential election a month away, Donald and Melania Trump have reportedly gone into quarantine after the POTUS’ close aide, Hope Hicks, tested positive for the COVID-19 virus! Obviously, Hicks has been in close proximity with the Donald and so, the presidential couple is now in self isolation to avoid possibly spreading the virus even more.
After all, it’s no secret that Donald Trump and most of his supporters do not even like to wear masks so the quarantine is really important!
Obviously, if the President was not as opposed to wearing masks, maybe he would not be at risk of infection right now.
For the time being, however, it’s still not known if Donald and Melania have it since they're still waiting for their test results to come back.
In the meantime, of course, quarantine it is!
The POTUS was the one to announce this, tweeting that: ‘Hope Hicks, who's been working so hard without taking a break, has just tested positive for Covid-19. Terrible! The First Lady and I are waiting for our test results. In the meantime, we'll begin our quarantine process!’
This comes after Hicks traveled with the POTUS via Air Force One to Ohio for his first Joe Biden presidential debate.
She continued to accompany him to different endeavors the following day as well and started to feel some of the COVID-19 symptoms on the flight back before she tested positive this morning.
Hicks was caught on camera leaving the plane with no face mask.
During a live interview for Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Trump also said that ‘She tested positive and I just went out with a test…so whether we quarantine or whether we have it, I don’t know. Who knows?…We spend a lot of time with Hope, so we’ll see what happens. It is very, very hard when you are with people from the military, or from law enforcement, and they come over to you, and they want to hug you, and they want to kiss you because we really have done a good job for them. She is a very warm person with them. She knows there’s a risk, but she is young.’
