DaBaby Addresses 2019 Assault On Las Vegas Driver

Earlier today, it was reported by Hot New Hip Hop and other outlets that DaBaby found himself in trouble with the authorities once again. In case you missed it, a Las Vegas driver claims DaBaby punched him in the back of the head following a heated argument regarding marijuana smoke in his vehicle.
DaBaby and his crew ordered a van to pick them up one day in Las Vegas. They started smoking weed in the back of the vehicle and the driver asked them to put it out. Allegedly, DaBaby and his friends proceeded to threaten him and told him they would kill the driver if he was in their city.
After dropping them off, the driver demanded payment from the rapper and his crew, but instead, he received a punch in the back of the head. They then grabbed their equipment from the back of his car. Now, there is an active warrant out for the rapper’s arrest.
On his Instagram account, DaBaby addressed the allegations by saying it was “100% false,” and urged his fans and followers to “stay positive” in the face of evil. The rapper went on to claim that the devil is always going to “try you when you doing good.”
His lawyer, as well, Drew Findlay, cast suspicion and doubt on the allegations to TMZ. He claimed it was odd that an altercation from November would suddenly pop up this year. He then went on to say that it was probably an “attempted money grab.”
At the moment, the police are after DaBaby on misdemeanor battery charges. Despite DaBaby’s frequent run-ins with the law, his career is at its all-time highest.
Following the release of his successful record last year, Kirk, DaBaby dropped a brand new album called Blame it on Baby. It went to number one on the charts and pushed The Weeknd’s Afterhours out of the number one spot where it had sat for weeks.
With that said, fan reception to DaBaby’s new record was not quite as positive as his last.
