Celine Dion released her album These Are Special Times as a free Yule Tide log edition for Christmas. Celine first released the album on October 30, 1998, and it was her very first Christmas album in English and her sixth studio album. These Are Special Times features two duets: “I’m Your Angel” with R. Kelly and “The Prayer” with Andrea Bocelli. Celine’s fans were surprised and elated when she shared the full-album along with the Yule-log video on Facebook and YouTube.
The full album is perfect for those who are looking for holiday music with a screensaver that adds to the ambience of the season. The video features a crackling fire in a glowing hearth as red and gold Christmas ornaments decorate several trees. A large, gold-wrapped present sits under the tree and pine cones while situated on the floor. The living room scene evokes feelings of comfort, peace, and cheer.
The album and video begins with one of the most beloved Christmas carols of all time — Celine’s verison of “O Holy Night.” The song is also known as “Cantique de Noël” and it is the portion where Celine sings the word ‘noel’ where the song soars.
