Kate Beckinsale Sings The Rocky Horror Picture Show’s Sweet Transvestite — Watch The Video
When Kate Beckinsale isn’t filming movies, she’s doing fun things like singing karaoke from cult-classic musicals, such as The Rocky Horror Picture Show. In a new video that Kate shared with her more than 3 million Instagram followers, fans could see Kate singing and dancing to the song “Sweet Transvestite” made famous when in 1975, Tim Curry played the role of Dr. Frank-n-Furter, a scientist from outer space who was in search of the perfect man. Kate belted out the tun and her fans loved it. Their only complaint was that the video was too short.
Kate Beckinsale’s filmography is expansive and consists of nearly 200 credits. Still, she is well-known for acting and her portrayal of characters that include action heroes, romantic leads, and victims terrorized in suspenseful thrillers. To many, however, she isn’t known for singing or for work in musicals. The new video is going viral because it offers fans a new side to Kate that many haven’t seen before.
Sharing the video on Sunday, Kate chose just one word for the caption, “Enchanté💋.”
Kate wore her long tresses in a messy ponytail with face-framing tendrils. She paired a tube top with a mini-skirt and exposed her toned midriff. Wearing thigh-high boots and dressed in black, Kate looked as if she was having a lot of fun singing and dancing to the lyrics.
