The singer got candid about the drama with his family and also revealed what his new face tattoo means! Here’s what he had to say!
Aaron Carter has been making headlines because of his very public feud with his brother, Nick Carter in the last weeks.
He joined his mother, Jane, on the hundredth episode of Marriage Boot Camp: Family Edition yesterday and the chatted with ET about the experience as well as the drama that has been going on in their lives.
The 31 year old singer stressed that there is ‘nothing fake, there is nothing scripted about this show’ and also insisted that the same thing can be said about him as a person.
The mother revealed that joining the show has been a great opportunity for them to reconnect since they did not use to talk much in the past.
Aside from his beef with Nick, Aaron also made headlines because of the pretty noticeable face tattoo he got not too long ago.
He dished that the ink art is of Medusa, the mythical creature, and explained what it means to him.
‘Medusa is my protector. If you wanna come at me with some negativity, my Medusa will just stare you in the eyes and turn you into stone.’
Aaron went on to say that he got it in honor of his mother, who he considers his protector, aka his Medusa.
‘This is the love of my life right here,’ the singer said fondly, hugging her.
As for the falling out with his brother, Jane assured everyone that Aaron loves his family a lot.
‘That’s where he’s coming from. He’s coming from love,’ she noted.
