It sounds like Rob Lowe just threw some shade at the two Hollywood stars involved in a massive college entrance exam scheme scandal – Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman! The actresses were among no less than 40 individuals who got their children into prestigious Universities through corrupt means.
What that means is that they used their influence and money to help their offspring reach new highs in their lives while others who actually deserved it, lost their chance to get in!
At this point, neither Huffman, nor Loughlin have opened up about the legal trouble they are in.
However, Lowe’s Stanford graduate son took to social media to write: ‘I studied for MONTHS for the SAT. Tons of practice tests. Ended up taking it multiple times as well. College apps were no joke… the stress kids are put under just to potentially then lose a spot to somebody unfairly is horrible.’ Yikes!
He went on to say: ‘I am incredibly grateful I had the privilege and the opportunity to have a tutor and afford practice test programs. A lot of kids do not. And to think of them just losing their chance at their dream school to somebody undeserving’s really, really gross.’
So it looks like the shade throwing started with the actor’s son criticizing anyone who would take someone else’s spot unfairly despite them being much more deserving.
But that is not to say Lowe did not agree!
He threw some shade as well by reposting his beloved son’s outraged message and adding: ‘Still proud of this achievement [graduation]. Happy for everybody out there who earned their accomplishments…and very sad for those who were never allowed the opportunity.’
