Billy Elish wore a black T-shirt with a picture of Taylor Hawkins performing two recent songs, including "Everything I Wanted".

Billie Eilish  was the first artist to pay tribute to drummer Taylor Hawkins, a member of the rock band Foo Fighters, during the 2022 Grammy Awards gala this Sunday.

The singer-songwriter performed two recent songs, including "Everything I Wanted", while wearing a black T-shirt featuring Hawkins, who died last Friday, March 25, in Colombia at the age of 50. 

A brief tribute of Eilish, who kissed his shirt at the end of his act, entertained the audience and added three awards with which his band rocked the event, as the Foo Fighters won the best rock Performances ("Making a Fire"), Best Rock Song ("Waiting for War") and Best Rock Album (Madicine at Midnight).

Prior to Elish's presentation, other artists performed from the stage, such as BTS, who paid tribute to spy films with new choreographies to the tune of "Butter".

Later, Lil Nas X set on a light and dance display, which included a large sculpture of his face singing "Dead Right Now". Meanwhile,  Brandi Carlile  performed "Right on Time" on the piano, and rapper  Nas  wrapped in gray with a small orchestra.

And without ignoring the awards, the two awards that came during the second block of the Grammys were Chris Stapleton's Best Country Album for Starting Over and one of the highlights of the night, Best New Artist, which came to an end. In the hands of Olivia Rodrigo.

It's a dream come true for me, "said the young woman excitedly as she picked up the gramophone, which was given to her by Dua Lipa and Megan Thee Stallion.
