Zooey Deschanel is a busy mother these days and not just because of her Hollywood career. Now, she’s a parent-of-two, and her hands are full! During the Baby2Baby Baby Carnival presented by Huggies in LA, the actress opened up about being a mom.
According to the Hollywood juggernaut, nothing in the world can prepare a person for being a parent because it’s truly a unique experience; it’s a part of life that’s a whole new chapter. She claimed, “I’m always thinking of them,” and has “changed completely.”
Like many other new parents, Zooey insists she didn’t realize her existence before motherhood was so incredibly selfish. Now that she’s a mom, her kids come first, no matter what.
The actress from Yes, Man – starring herself and Jim Carrey – is now the mother of the daughter, Elsie Otter, 2, and Charlie Wolf, four months, along with her husband, Jacob Pechenik.
Zooey and Jacob married during a secret ceremony in 2015 and ever since then, sources claim the couple is doing great. They have managed to stay out of the public spotlight for the most part, primarily for their children’s safety.
She argued that “parenthood is fun,” and she’s always adjusting because children go through phases throughout their development to which one has to adapt. When asked if she would have yet another baby, she coyly responded, “I don’t know yet. We’ll see.”
According to E! Online, Zooey will bring her two kids to the set of her new comedy series created by Fox which will continue filming its seventh and final season. Fans of Deschanel will remember her from her memorable performance in Yes, Man with Jim Carrey and 500 Days of Summer along with Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
