Zoe Kravitz Talks Red Carpet Style, Says Hair Was Inspired By Mia Farrow
Zoe Kravitz, the daughter of Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz, walked the Emmys red carpet and dazzled fans with her sleek hair and dress. Kravitz was in attendance for her work on HBO's Big Little Lies that was nominated for 16 Emmys and brought wins to Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern, and Alexander Skarsgard.
While fans are begging for a second season, the cast basked in their extraordinary win. She also turned heads when she walked the red carpet after recently dyed her hair from a blonde crop to a jet-black pixie that she said was inspired by Mia Farrow.
Zoe wore Christian Dior in a feathered dress with a rainbow skirt. Fashion is primarily for expressing your character and there's no question that Zoe showed who she is with the dress.
The Dior dress shimmered a variety of colors with each of Zoe's movements and she paired the gown with Tiffany jewels. The top bodice was a black, low cut top with a full, rainbow-colored skirt. The Dior Haute Coutre dress was a hit and Zoe found herself on many top-dressed lists.
As Zoe's gown was an ensemble of multiple colors, she chose to keep her makeup to a natural, bare minimum. The choice was effective and provided an even more dramatic effect and didn't distract from the beauty of the gown.
While on the red carpet, Zoe said she chose the gown because it felt to her magical or even fairy like. Her short pixie cut added to the fairy look and the ensemble was a fan favorite and red carpet highlight.
Zoe also walked the carpet on her one-year anniversary with boyfriend Karl Glusman. The pair shared sweet exchanges on their Instagram accounts while giving each other anniversary shout-outs. Zoe remarked that she is crazy about Karl and called him the best date ever.
Karl Glusman shared a photo of him giving Zoe a kiss and remarked that they were one year strong.
What do you think of Zoe's choice to dye her hair black for the Emmys? Do you like the way her hair complemented the Dior gown? Did you see a resemblance between Zoe's hair and Mia Farrow's?
