Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter, Zara Tindall and her husband Mike Tindall welcomed a second child into their lives on Monday, and now, we have also learned what the name of the baby girl is!
One official statement revealed that the happy parents named their second addition to the family Lena Elizabeth Tindall!
As you may be aware, Zara and her former rugby player husband also share another daughter named Mia Grace Tindall, who is four years old.
‘The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal, Captain Mark Phillips and Mike’s parents, Mr. Philip and Mrs. Linda Tindall, have been informed and are delighted with the news,’ one statement coming from the royal family announced at the time.
Now, Zara’s mother, Princess Anne is a grandma of four while Queen Elizabeth II is a great-grandmother for the seventh time!
But everything was not always great in the family. Not even two years ago, the equestrian shared the fact that she had suffered a miscarriage.
All throughout that grieving period, Mike said that their daughter Mia was the family’s ‘saving grace.’
During an interview for The Sunday Times last year, he stated that ‘However down we feel she’ll come running up in our faces. When I was still playing, I hardly saw her; but now we can see her grow up. I can take her swimming, I can take her to Ninja Tots. You’d never be able to see her there because she simply disappears in a puff of smoke.’
And now, he and Zara also have Lena Elizabeth to comfort and bring them immeasurable joy.
Congratulations on the new addition to the family Zara and Mark!
