Zac Efron was at the 2018 Boston Marathon this year, but unfortunately for fans, he wasn’t shooting a movie. The pretty-boy-actor was supporting his brother who participated in this year’s run.
In an Instagram post, the 30-year-old Neighbors alum said there isn’t much of a point to life if we cross lines and no one is there to celebrate with.
Truer words were never spoken. This comes after National Siblings Day, a day where users take to social media to commemorate their brothers and sisters.
While we’re not sure if Zac was being nice to Dylan for National Siblings Day, it’s probably the way they normally treat each other. Efron wrote, “by the way, I’m going to be at every race with from here until forever, brother.”
According to multiple reports, Zac and his brother Dylan, are good friends, and frequently hang out together. The Disney Channel alum has talked about their relationship before in the press.
“What’s the point of all the finish lines we cross in life if there’s no one there to celebrate with?” This used to get me down when I felt alone- There’s many reasons BTW❤️?? – Ima be at every ? with you from here until forever, Brother. Congrats @dylanefron #marathon #bostonstrong #bostonmarathon #letsgo ?
In a clip shared on his Instagram, Zac yelled to his bro, “Come on, give your brother a hug!” and like it was just mentioned, this isn’t the first time.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! back in May of 2017, the actor admitted there were moments when he let his brother live with him. Efron said his role is a nice one in the home: Dylan “looks after the house” while he’s gone.
As for if Dylan takes advantage of his privileges, Efron admitted he never asked him if he throws parties there while he’s gone.
He said, “we’re cool like that. I trust him, he’s a good dude.” However, the Disney alum admitted there have been times when he arrived and it was quite clear that the cleaning lady had just left. Maybe he shouldn’t trust him after all!
