Zac Efron currently stars in one of the most popular movies playing America right now (silver screen and streaming networks included) but he still has time to hang out with his brother Dylan Efron and go fishing. In the newest installment of the High School Musical alumnus’ and star of Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile, new YouTube series, Zac Efron and Dylan venture into the Los Angeles River to see if it is worthy of a fishing spot. The series is called Off the Grid with Zac Efron and features the brothers on exciting adventures as they try to find ways to balance peace and relaxation with the hustle and bustle of city life.
The two brothers have quickly gained a huge YouTube following with over 600,000 subscribers. They are also active on social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, but those who want to see them in action and have the ability to leave feedback on their videos will want to check out their YouTube channel.
Zac has been known to interact in the comments, so that certainly hasn’t hurt him get more than half a million followers in lightning-record time.
They are new to YouTube and Zac launched the new channel approximately one month ago.
Though they are fishing in the L.A. River, they aren’t choosing local spots for all of their adventures. The first video shows the boys “roughing it” with wild donkeys, plenty of bugs, and Christmas lights out in Lake Mohave.
The quality of the videos is excellent and it almost seems as if you’re watching a television series and it appears there is plenty of room for Zac and Dylan to grow both on YouTube and if “Off the Grid” gets picked up for further expansion.
Regardless of what the future holds in store for the brothers, the show is a hit and fans love seeing Zac and Dylan in their natural element…or rather out of their element as they live “off grid.”
You may watch Dylan and Zac go off grid fishing in the L.A. River in the video player below.
