Mark Ruffalo recently appeared for a new voting campaign next to Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore and Robert Downey Jr. Just in case that you needed an extra incentive to go out and vote this fall, Joss Whedon, the Avengers director, enlisted an entire crew of celebrities, along with the possibility that Mark Ruffalo might do a full nude scene, just to convince people to vote.
He made a video campaign for his PAC and titled it “Save the Day”. There you can see lots of A-list celebrities like Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore or Robert Downey Jr. acting together with small screen stars such as Neil Patrick Harris, Jesse Williams and Matt McGorry. As it seems, they all got together just to convince people to go out and vote this fall, thus taking an active part in their future.
This is not the first time there are such initiatives started by Hollywood people, since many people made small clips and other performances just t make people get out of their homes and vote. This particular video encourages citizens to follow their civic duty in general, but some of the stars also hint to the fact that it would probably be better if you didn’t vote for Trump. For example, Don Cheadle doesn’t mention his name, but he does say you shouldn’t vote for “a racist, abusive coward who could permanently damage our society”.
In a tongue in cheek addition, the video promises that if you will get out and vote, Mark Ruffalo will have a full-frontal nude scene to be shown in his next film. However, if you think about it, this doesn’t sound so good, since the next movies he’s going to play in involve the Hulk role he admirably performed in The Avengers. But even so, ladies can keep their hopes up!
