We have learned that after beloved rapper XXXTentacion lost his life at the age of just 20, fans will at least have the chance to say goodbye to him in an intimate, private ceremony without the press or cameras of any kind. The memorial is set to take place on Wednesday in Florida.
As you may be aware, the controversial but talented artist, whose real named was Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy was fatally shot on Monday in Miami as he was leaving a motorcycle dealer.
A suspect has already been arrested, but the investigation continues.
Now, a memorial was announced and will be taking place this upcoming Wednesday, June 27, from 12 to 6 PM at Florida Panther’s Stadium in Sunrise, Florida.
In addition, one rep for the late rapper confirmed that there is also going to be an open casket viewing so that his fans can find proper closure.
Sadly enough, a couple of days ago it was also announced that XXXTentacion was about to become a dad as his unnamed significant girlfriend is expecting his child.
His mom, Cleopatra Bernard, posted a sonogram on social media, captioning it: ‘He left us a final gift.’
The picture showed that the woman expecting was 8 weeks and 3 days along at the time she underwent the test.
The Broward County Sheriff’s Office has managed to detain Dedrick Devonshay Williams, 22, suspected of gunning down XXXTentacion.
He was charged with first-degree murder.
On Thursday, they revealed that the detectives are ‘seeking additional suspects’ as the investigation continues.
