Kandi Burruss is doing fine these days, and she’s very successful with her latest project, the Chicago musical. Check out what she had to say regarding Xscape and the ladies’ next album without her.
She had a lot of press rounds for her brand new starring role in the Broadway musical Chicago, and during one of them, Kandi commented on Xscape’s future album.
This upcoming project will be missing her voice after more attempts to reunite the entire group eventually failed.
Kandi discussed this matter with Madame Noir, and she told the publication that she fears that the new music from Xscape would squander the group’s legacy.
She stated that after she and the ladies from Xscape started initially talking, she told them that she did not want to make any new music with the group and the primary reason for this was the fact that she felt like she did not want to mess with the group’s legacy.
‘When we were a group we had three platinum albums, all of our albums were hits, we never had a flop album, and things are not how they used to be back then.’
She continued and explained that fact that the ladies from Xscape are all different these days and this will lead to a not so successful album. You can see everything she had to say on this issue in the clip above.
It’s true that the ladies have a lot of problems with each other and we cannot confirm whether Xscape is currently planning an album. On the other hand, things have become certain regarding Kandi’s thoughts about the idea.
