Star of the 1970s Wonder Woman TV show, Lynda Carter, revealed the shocking news that she is also a victim of sexual harassment and abuse! The actress did not share the name of the perpetrator but said: ‘I believe every woman in the Bill Cosby case.’
The 66-year-old chose not to mention any particular names and did not detail what happened to her but did admit that she considered taking legal action.
‘He is already being done in. There is no advantage in piling on again. I believe every woman in the Bill Cosby case,’ she stated.
Carter also stressed that she is not the only victim of this man as he violated ‘a lot of people.’
When asked what she believes about the fact that her abuser is receiving his punishment, she replied that ‘Well, whatever it is, it is not enough.’
She claimed that, in fact, she did not get any ‘satisfaction’ from the entire case against the perpetrator and explained why she hasn’t come forward with her own experience as well.
‘No, not satisfaction. I cannot add anything to it. I wish I could. But there is nothing legally I could add to it because I looked into it. I am just one more face in the crowd. I wish I could, and if I could, I would. And I’d talk about it. But it ends up being about me, and not the people who can talk about it. I do not want it to be about me, it is not about me. It is about him being a scumbag. So legally I cannot do anything.’
Carter admitted that it took her a long time to get over the assault and that she is probably still struggling with the terrible memories now.
