Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have secured a legendary act for their upcoming wedding on the 19th of May. On the 27th of February, Tuesday, Mel claimed she and the girls would perform at the royal reception.
Loni Love asked Mel B, 42, during an episode of The Real if she knows anybody who’s going to the wedding, and Mel nodded her head and said, “yeah, I’m going.”
Naturally, the co-hosts Jeannie Mai and Adrienne Bailon were shocked at the revelation and Mel admitted that she doesn’t know if it was a good idea to update her fans on the news.
Mai asked her if she received an official invitation and the “America’s Got Talent” judge stated the five Spice Girls all did.
However, Mel would not open up about the nature of the invitation because that would be “too personal” and too revealing. The singer joked that she needed to go. Otherwise, she’d get fired.
As you may know, the Spice Girls first sparked rumors of a possible reunion back on the 2nd of February when the five got together and posted a photo on social media in a photo you can see above.
All five members were pictured including, Emma Bunton, Mel C, Mel B, Victoria Beckham, and Halliwell. Following the post, they released a statement indicating a possible future project.
Their statement alleged they would take advantage of some upcoming opportunities together and “embrace the original essence of the Spice Girls” while perpetuating themes of female empowerment. On the other hand, David Beckham, when speaking with reporters from Vogue on the 10th of February said he isn’t going on tour, and neither are the girls.
