If you know the original story, Belle from the Beauty and the Beast was initially a French villager dressed in a peasant blouse and a simple blue apron. Even though this is not as iconic as the image of Belle in a beautiful yellow ball gown, it is also memorable and worthy of taking into account. Emma Watson will be doing a live-action remake for the beloved heroine and as it seems, she will bring a new touch to the dresses Belle will wear too.
Recently, Disney made public some sketches for the set and the costumes they will be using for the movie. Among these we found some of the blue-and-white outfit Belle wore. However, the drawings meant to represent the clothes Emma Watson will be wearing during filming show clothes a little bit grungier than what the original clothes looked like. The outfit is matched with some boots and some dish towels replace the old basket Belle was carrying.

This version seems to be more realistic, thing which is underlined by the fact that the perfect updo Belle initially had gets replaced with a loose ponytail which offers her a more realistic look.
This year, the original Beauty and the Beast movie is 25 years old, so all the more reason to celebrate the story everbody loves. On HelloGiggles.com you can find more sketches released by the company and a sneak peek if you wish to download the original animation from iTunes.
There already some previews of the film out there, if you’re curious to see what it will look like. The scheduled release is set to be in 2017, so we will have to wait a little more until we get the chance to see how will Emma Watson deal with this new character and challenge. She is famous for interpreting various roles in movies like Harry Potter, Noah and many more.
