LuAnn de Lesseps can’t even celebrate Christmas without a little drama. The Real Housewives of New York star was arrested for drunk and disorderly conduct after getting into a fight with a police officer over the holiday weekend. This type of behavior usually spells the end of television careers, but it sounds like Bravo will not punish the former countess for her actions.
According to Page Six, network insiders claim that provided plenty of it over the weekend. Apart from the arrest, de Lesseps was also caught with a mystery man in her hotel room.any disciplinary actions for de Lesseps’ drunken behavior. A source claims that the arrest will not get the RHONY star fired from the show and might even lead to more air time in the upcoming season. De Lesseps’ Christmas weekend turned south after police officers caught her trespassing in a hotel room. According to Fox News, the reality star was hanging outat the time of the arrest and went absolutely berserk on the officers.
Apparently, a maid discovered the two in bed during turn-down service late Saturday. A security guard was called to the room and asked de Lesseps — who was staying in a different room — to leave. The reality star would not comply with the request and police were called to assist.

By the time the real police arrived, de Lesseps had locked herself inside the bathroom. When they tried to unlock the door, she busted through and drunkenly shoved one of the cops, later named as Officer O’Leary. She also slammed the bathroom door on O’Leary, hitting him in the face. Police eventually got de Lesseps under control, handcuffed her and took her down to the station for booking.
The RHONY star was released Sunday morning and issued a statement apologizing for her actions. In her statement, de Lesseps said that her trip to Palm Beach dug up “long-buried emotions” related to her ex-husband, Tom D’Agostino Jr. As fans will recall, the couple tied the knot in Palm Beach one year ago.
All told, de Lesseps was charged with a grand total of 5 different crimes. Although they might later be dropped to misdemeanors, 4 of de Lesseps’ violations were booked as felonies.

Following the embarrassing arrest, TMZ reports that de Lessepswith family and friends. The reality star shared a few pics of the festivities, including a shot of her brother, Michael Nadeau, grilling outside. In all the photos, de Lesseps made it a point to keep far from the center of attention. Given everything that went down over the weekend, this was probably a good idea.
Bravo has not released an official comment on LuAnn de Lesseps’ arrest. Season 10 of the Real Housewives of New York is expected to premiere sometime in 2018.
