The White House just sent out the president’s official Christmas cards this week and everything looked in order except for the absence of one family member: Barron Trump. Donald, Melania, Ivanka, Eric, and Tiffany Trump all made the holiday greetings card, yet Barron was surprisingly MIA. Why didn’t Barron make it on the family Christmas card?
Closer Weekly reports that Barron did not make it on the Christmas card. Earlier this year, the White House sent out a special memo asking the media to give Barron some space after a misfortunate incident involving online bullies.

Previous presidents have sent out similar requests and the media usually allows the children to live largely outside the realm of the political limelight. In fact, Barron had few appearances during his father’s campaign run, though he ignited the internet when cameras caught him napping on the eve of the election. That said, there is a good chance that Barron will be featured on holiday cards in the future as he adjusts more to his new life in Washington.
In addition to the Christmas card, Us Magazine reports that Trump and Melania released their ownfor the holiday season. The pair posed together in elegant style, flanked by American flags and a set of frosted Christmas trees.
Prior to the Christmas photos, Melania has been spotted wearing several holiday outfits while decorating the White House grounds.
Fans have generally reacted positively to the holiday photos, though Barron’s absence did raise a few concerns about why he wasn’t included in the family’s event. Fortunately, it sounds like Trump had a perfectly good explanation for why Barron wasn’t a part of the photo op.
For those who don’t know much about Barron Trump, there are quite a few surprising things to learn about Melania’s first son. For starters, Closer Weekly reports that Barron isand was born in the spring of 2006.
Melania and Trump tied the knot in January of 2005. Although most people call him Barron, Melania refers to him as “Little Donald,” especially whenever he spends a lot of time with his father.

Barron is also Trump’s youngest kid and has four half-siblings, including Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric, all of whom are from Donald’s first marriage with Ivana Trump, and Tiffany, whom Trump shares with his second wife, Marla Maples. All told, Barron is the uncle of ten different nieces and nephews and he’s not even a teenager yet.
Barron actually decided to remain in New York after Trump won the presidency. In fact, Melania stayed with Barron in the Big Apple until he finished his fifth year at a prep school in the city. Barron now considers Washington his home and is currently attending school in Maryland at St. Andrew’s.
As far as his net worth is concerned, Trump’s fortune is estimated to be worth around the $3.1 billion mark. Of course, he’ll have to split this up with his five children, which will set up Barron Trump quite nicely for the rest of his life.
